Rochester, New York Joins The "Ban-The-Box Movement"

The City of Rochester became the second city in the state of New York to adopt "ban-the-box" legislation on May 22, 2014. The legislation restricts the timing of pre-employment criminal history inquiries by most Rochester public and private employers. Rochester is preceded by Buffalo, NY in adopting these policies as well as over forty other jurisdictions throughout the United States.

Whether it’s a burn out from conducting al ot of interviews for multiple positions, or your just not sure if the questions you want to ask will be compliant; interviewing a job candidate is extremely important in figuring out if the applicant is a “right fit” for your organization.
